Susan Cranshaw's armadillo is just what we needed to complete the Desert Series. No, not all armadillos are born dead with their feet in the air on the side of the road. They aren't too lovable though as they eat your iris roots!
The Desert Series has to have the Bluebonnet....... This is the Texas State Flower but grows across this lower area of the United States. This gives you the additional bright coloration which adds so much. These patterns are all good as stand-alone desi
The Desert Series has to have the giant prickly pear blossom somewhere, or even several of these. You can flip the pattern for the cactus to make a different look, or move the flower itself.
This is a stand-alone pattern from Susan Cranshaw, but also was made to be added to her Desert Series quilt patterns, in any way you would like to use it. Alone it is 28" x 40".
This little guy is irrestible, and totally necessary. These are so hard to find now, we think the fire ants have cut their numbers in the wild. He is made from stacked fabrics and lots of different threads and stitches.
Here is the big guy in the Desert Series. The batiks are so perfect for the speckled and blotchy fur on the Longhorn. You will have fun getting him to come to life in your project!
Beep Beep - there he went! The Desert Series has to have this one in it. The one at our house likes to go out on the old diving board over our swimming pool for some reason, maybe he gets a clear view. They love to sit in trees and oversee everything.
This is a stand-alone pattern from Susan Cranshaw, but also was made to be added to her Desert Series quilt patterns, in any way you would like to use it. Alone it is 24" x 38".
