Mae Shaw leads this class. You will have quite a bit of preparation and fabric searching before you are ready. We will give you the preliminary instructions when you buy the pattern.
This is a ONE DAY class and you will get down to El Paso!

SCISSORS SHARPENER

Bring in your scissors before he comes with your name and phone number taped to them.  Usually $4 a pair.

SANDY’S BRAIDED RUG   

Sandy leads this class about once a month!

She charges $10.00.  This braided rug is worked together as you go, so there is no sewing at the end.  No, it is not crocheted.

GRANDMOTHER’S GARDEN

This spectacular three-dimensional
quilt features at least 20 floral basket blocks.  Linnadelle Lee teaches this class over a several months time period.

GARDEN TWIST QUILT

Dianna Frazor teaches this technique a little differently and much more easily done than the pattern shows.  This is a lovely quilt that everyone admires when they come in to the shop.

MACHINE CLEANING AND REPAIR

Don Adams comes to the store and unless there is something major he will do the work right here.  The basic charge is $59.95 plus tax.

BEGINNER QUILTING SAMPLER

Classes every other week for 8 weeks or more if you would like.  Learn all the basics and have a sampler quilt to remember this by!

Mae Shaw is the teacher and it costs $15.00 per session.  You can come from 1-4 PM or 6 to 9 PM, every other Monday.

You can start any Monday that we have a class scheduled. 

4 Patch Stack and Whack

Mae Shaw, teacher $25 teacher fee

One Day Class – we will teach you to select the fabrics, then stack and cut. You will make a lot of squares and also she will help you make the cornerstones.

Melon Block Quilt

Mae Shaw, teacher  $25 teacher fee

This quilt uses the pattern and template from Elisa’s Back Porch.  These are large curves and this is a chance to get over your curve fears! 

There are many selections of patterns in the book using these blocks. 

This is an all day class.

Stars All Around

Mae Shaw, teacher   $25     each day

This is a two day class.   You will learn about how to put together a Lone Star pattern.  You will also learn about mitering corners.  You will also learn about how to figure and cut large corner setting triangles. 

Carpenter’s Star

Mae Shaw, teacher  $25 teacher fee

This is an easy quilt using half-square triangles.  It can be made using three colors or many colors.  She will help you with color selection.  This is an all day class and you will be at least half way through the quilt top.

Appliqué Sue

Mae Shaw, teacher  $15 teacher fee

This is the basic hand appliqué class.  You will be learning needle-turn appliqué.  In addition, you will be shown a few basic embroidery stitches to help you embellish your Sue.  This is a half-day class.

The Cat Quilt

Mae Shaw, teacher  $25 teacher fee

This throw can be made with other silhouettes.  Mae has made this with horses.  You put together the base blocks and then you iron-on appliqué the animal shapes, you can stitch around them if desired.  This is a one day class.
