![]() We are so glad you found our web site! I would love it if you could visit us in person but if you live too far away we will try to make it as easy as possible to shop with us. We are a full service quilt and sewing store however we do specialize in cowboy and western fabrics. Our home town just happens to be the Cowboy Capital of the World. Many rodeo and horse people live in our area or come here for rodeo events, so it was natural that we want to have some selection of these items in stock. We are the only store within 30 miles or so, so of course we have plenty of selection of all types of quilting fabrics as well.

| I want to let you all know that in October 2012 I will be retiring. Debbie Bailess will be the new owner, and she will be able to help you in any way, I feel sure. Things might change a little however in general The Flying Needle will still be a full service quilt store, with needlework and art supplies. Debbie is planning on a name change, too. We will let you know as the details become more exact. The phone number will be the same and the store is not planning to move at this time. I have had a lot of support over the years from so many customers it is impossible to single any one out, however I am very thankful for everyone enjoying the store, and I am glad it will continue as a meeting place and learning place and comfort place for the whole community, and in fact darn near all over the world. We have mailed fabric to new homes in England and Europe, Africa and Australia, and nearly everywhere! I am grateful that this can continue with Debbie and her help. I hope you will continue to give her support as you have done me. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Whew - it's getting hot now! 101 when I went to the Post Office! We have been playing around with collages this summer. We got these terrific stripes in from Michael Miller and just had to cut up some bright flowers and other pieces and make something! We made an apron first, and then made a huge tote bag! Give it a try yourself. Just iron the brights on to Heat N Bond Lite, cut out and iron down when you get the design set. Then make something special. ![]() |
